# Blockchain Infrastructure

The OpenMotion ecosystem is powered by a strong technical foundation that uses blockchain technology and tokenization. This modern framework aims to transform how creators, investors, fans, and distributors engage and transact in the animation world. The blockchain serves as the foundational layer of OpenMotion protocol, ensuring security, transparency, and trust in all interactions and transactions. It's the immutable ledger that records every creation, transaction, and exchange within the ecosystem:

* For creators, this means a transparent and tamper-proof system for rights management and content distribution.
* For investors and fans, blockchain technology provides assurance and clarity on the authenticity and ownership of assets as well as the fair and transparent split of rewards.
* For distributors blockchain enables the acquisition of the NFT licence, which gives the right of distribution for particular animation content at particular geographical location.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://openmotion.gitbook.io/open-motion-whitepaper/blockchain-infrastructure.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
