# Distributors

Distributors have a very important role in the OpenMotion ecosystem, as they make the content empowered by OpenMotion public and more reachable.

Every animation within the OpenMotion ecosystem possesses the authority to issue a unique NFT license. This NFT grants the holder the right to oversee the distribution of the animation in specific geographical regions. OpenMotion serves as the facilitator for this process, empowering creators with the tools to manage the global reach of their content. This license enables NFT holders to partially own a unique piece of unique content (animation) based on the amount invested. Once the animation movie starts being distributed, it will start generating income and the producer or distributor will trigger OpenMotion to open a license lease service for that particular animation movie. NFT license holders will be able to lease their NFTs for investment return. The return is entirely paid by the production and/or distribution company (depends on the specific movie business setup). Additionally, NFT license holders will get to mint a specific amount of Fan NFTs providing exclusive access to the fan platform of a particular animation movie on OpenMotion.

Finally, OpenMotion platform enables creators and distributors to have commercial agreements where the compensation is fairly distributed among animation creators, investors and the OpenMotion fund.

#### With OpenMotion platform and token features Distributors capture the main values:

* Distributors can purchase NFTs license and use leasing services. That gives additional monetisation streams for the investors via royalties.
* Predefined collected revenues from content interactions are automatically sent to the personal wallets.
